#ThrowbackTuesday: Essays from Writing I – Spring 2014

I was looking through what accounts I am in charge of on my WordPress, and rediscovered the blog where my fellow classmates from my Writing I and myself shared our papers with our professor, Robin Jordan.

I am proud to say that while looking at the stats for the class, my photo essay ‘Size 0’: The distortion of Female Beauty in Media and How it affects the Reality was ranked as having the most views for both years the blog has been online! Not mention that it is still getting views to this day….

Although it isn’t has highly ranked, What Makes Us Women: A Consumerist Experiment By Brenna Prather is still one of the best experiences I have had as a writer. It tested my abilities in researching and note-taking. It helped spark my adventures in gender identity, and has given me a new perspective when it comes to looking at fashion and costume design. Overall, an experience I am beyond proud of.

Anyway, have a look and enjoy my throwback!
